Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical – St Johnsbury, VT 05819

Start Date: October 14, 2026

Location: Northeast Kingdom region of Vermont

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM. Three 12-hour shifts per week, 36 hours guaranteed, including every other weekend. 91-day assignment through January 13, 2027.

Highlights:

• Work in a 25-bed critical access hospital serving a close-knit rural community in Vermont's scenic Northeast Kingdom
• Provide comprehensive care for adult and pediatric patients in a dynamic Med-Surg unit including medical, surgical, outpatient, observation, and swing bed services
• Collaborate with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals in a supportive, holistic care environment
• Experience the natural beauty and year-round outdoor recreational activities of Vermont's unspoiled Northeast Kingdom
• Two positions available for qualified candidates seeking a travel nursing opportunity

Requirements:

• Current Vermont RN or multi-state RN licensure
• Minimum 3 years of acute care experience required
• BLS (American Heart Association) and ACLS certification required
• Meditech experience preferred
• Flu vaccination required (no exceptions)
• Reliable personal transportation essential (public transportation and rideshare services not available)
• All required credentials must be uploaded five business days before start date
