**Exciting Opportunity for Travel RN: Med/Surg (Neuro, Ortho, Peds) at Marquette General Hospital!** - Join a 225-bed specialty care hospital known for its Heart & Vascular Institute, Cancer Center, Brain & Spine Center, Rehabilitation, Behavioral Health, Digestive Health, Bariatric Medicine, and Women’s Health. - **Location:** - Marquette, MI - Explore the largest community in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, home to Northern Michigan University. - **Unit Profile:** - Floor: 7th – Neuro/Ortho/Peds - Trauma Level: 2 - Number of Beds: 24 - Patient Ratios: 1:6 - Patient Population: All ages over 28 days - **Position Information:** - Role: RN - Specialty: Neuro/Ortho/Pediatrics - Number of Openings: 1 - Shift: NOC (7P-7A) - Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 - Weekend Commitment: 3 weekends every 6 weeks - Call Requirements: None - **Required Certifications:** - BLS - PALS (Preferred) - **Experience:** - Minimum 2 years of experience with adult patients - Preferred experience with pediatrics - **Additional Unit Information:** - Float Requirements: Yes, to inpatient units - Supervisor: 1-2 - **Common Diagnoses/Treatments:** - Trauma and Post-op Ortho/Neuro - General Pediatric Care (0-3 rooms on average) - **Personality Fit:** - Teamwork and collaboration are essential. - **Education Requirements:** - ADN (Associate Degree in Nursing) - **Dress Code:** - Scrub Color: Galaxy Blue - Refer to HR 200-052 Dress Code and Appearance Policy for unacceptable attire. - **Housing Recommendations:** - Contact: - Margaret Gustafson (Marquette) - April Karki (Negaunee) - Laura Nyland (Gwinn) - Stephanie Tasson (Ishpeming) - **Explore Housing Options:** - [Rent by Owner]( Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
