**Join Our Dynamic Medical/Surgical Team as an Acute Travel RN!** **Job Description:** - **Position:** Acute Travel RN - **Unit:** 6th Floor - Medical/Surgical - **Shift:** 7 PM - 7 AM - **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** 36 - **Weekend Hours:** Rotating - **Required Certifications:** ACLS, MI State License - **Experience:** 2+ Years Required - **Float Requirements:** Occasional to similar units - **Education:** Bachelor’s Degree **Unit Information:** - **Trauma Level:** 2 - **Patient Ratios:** 5:1 to 6:1 - **Patient Population:** Adults and geriatrics, ages 18 - 125 - **Equipment:** - Telemetry monitors - Baxter IV pumps - Kangaroo pump - Bladder scanner - Dynamaps - **EHR:** Cerner **Key Responsibilities:** - Utilize critical thinking skills and decisive judgment in patient care - Work independently in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment - Deliver exceptional patient care with compassion and professionalism **Must Have Skills/Experience:** - Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities - Ability to work with minimal supervision - Excellent communication skills **Preferred Skillset/Experience:** - Previous experience in a medical/surgical unit **Dress Code:** - **Scrub Color:** Galaxy Blue (Navy also acceptable) - **Attire Guidelines:** - Keep fingernails clean and at a moderate length - Cover any tattoos that may be considered offensive - Limit excessive jewelry **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
