Unit Overview The 3 East Med Surg Unit is a 21-bed unit caring primarily for post-operative and non-infectious patients. Common patient conditions include chest pain, CVA (stroke), and abdominal pain.

Unit: 3 East Med Surg
Unit Size: 21 beds
Patient Population: Post-operative and non-infectious patients
Common Diagnoses: Chest pain, CVA, abdominal pain
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Block Schedule: May be available upon request
Required Certifications
BLS
ACLS
Key Requirements
Med Surg nursing experience
Ability to care for post-operative and medically complex patients
Must be available to work every other weekend
Strong assessment, communication, and patient-care skills
