**Exciting Opportunity: Travel RN - Med-Surg (610) - 7P-7A** **Job Description:** - **Unit Information:** - Med-Surg - Location: 4th Floor, Tower B - 24 Beds - Staff: 7 (1 Charge, 4 RNs or LPNs, 2 PCTs on Nights) - Patient Ratios: 6:1 - **Shift Details:** - 48 Hours Guaranteed Preferred - Start Date: 12/14 - Night Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM - Weekends: 4 shifts (Fri, Sat, or Sun) in a 4-week period - **General Information:** - EMR: Meditech - Type of Equipment: BLS, NIHSS - Typical Procedures: - PIV insertion/management/removal - Central line management/removal - Foley insertion/management/removal - NG insertion/management/removal - Drain management/removal - Wound care and ostomy management - Continuous bladder irrigation - Chest tube management - EKG - **Required Skills:** - Prior inpatient acute care experience - Basic dysrhythmias understanding - **Preferred Skills:** - Experience in a trauma center - **Equipment Used:** - Alaris IV pumps - Hoyer, Sarah Steady - Feeding pumps - Welch Allyn Vital Sign Machines - iMobile - Vein Finder - Virtual Admission RN (10 AM - 10 PM) - **Dress Code:** - Scrub Color: Royal Blue - Black pants are acceptable **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
