Care Career is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Alexandria, Louisiana.

Medical Surgical RN

Position: RN – Medical Surgical
Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
Schedule: 3 weekends in a 6-week schedule
Contract: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 hours/week available
Start Date: ASAP
Rate: $90/hour
Patient Ratio: 1:6
On-Call: No call
EMR: Epic
Scrubs: Ceil Blue

Required

  • Active RN license in the state of employment or Compact RN license
  • AHA BLS certification
  • Willingness to float
  • Medical-Surgical nursing experience/skills as applicable to the position

Preferred

  • BSN
  • 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty

Additional Information

  • Shift changed from days to nights per client request
  • Overtime is not billable until after 48 hours
  • Full-time position
  • 1 position available
  • Core nursing exams and Medical-Surgical competency exams are included in the submission checklist
