Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med Surg RN for a night shift position in Keene, NH requiring 2+ years of Med Surg experience and NH or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Med Surg unit (Kingsbury Pavilion) within a 169-bed regional referral center
• Adult-geriatric patient population
• 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM-7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required, plus holidays if needed
• No on-call requirements
• Float to Thompson Unit required if needed
• May float to Kingsbury custodial patients (higher ratio, lower acuity) as needed
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active NH RN license or Compact license required, must be in-hand prior to consideration
• BLS and ACLS certification (AHA) required
• NIH Stroke Certification required
• 2+ years of Med Surg experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must have own vehicle for this assignment
• Skills checklist (Med Surg, current within 1 year) required for consideration
• One supervisory signed reference (within past two years of employment) required for consideration

Additional Information

• Coordinates total nursing care for patients and participates in patient and family teaching
• Provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient care team members
• Traveler-provided professional scrubs required, no logos permitted
• Shift accommodation requests, including block scheduling, will not be considered
• No more than 5 days of RTO accepted, and must be submitted at time of profile upload
• RTO requests made after upload or during interview will not be approved
• Must work two full holiday blocks if scheduled: Thanksgiving Day through the following weekend, Christmas Eve through the following weekend, and New Year's Eve through the following weekend
