Express Healthcare Staffing Travel is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Hilo, Hawaii.
RN Flex Pool - Days, General Job duties. Types of procedures required.
Flex Rn Floats between various medical and surgical units
Shift or schedule requirements.
12-hour shifts - Days (0645 to 1915) - Scheduled 36 hours per week following first week of orientation. No guarantee of hours.
Equipment - Meditech EMR; pyxis; wound vac; chest tubes.
Required skills and minimum years of experience: 2-10 years’ experience
Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required: BLS, ACLS (Preferred: PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, ENPC)
Floating to other units/departments: Medical Unit; Laulima Unit; Cardiovascular Unit (on rare occasions)
Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept: Medical - 77; Laulima (surgical Acute) - 18; Cardiovascular Unit - 15 Nurse to patient ratio of this unit.
Medical 1:6 for days and eves, 1:8 for nights
Laulima 1:6
Cardiovascular 1:4
