Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical/Telemetry – Tyler, TX 75701

Start Date: October 20, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: 3x12-hour day shifts (07:00 - 19:00), with half of scheduled shifts on weekends. Patient ratio 1:6. Unit census of 19 beds with 18 private rooms and one semi-private room.

• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Rapid Response Teams, and more
• Telemetry capabilities with both on-unit and remote monitoring
• Orientation provided with Epic charting system in place
• Opportunity to work with diverse patient diagnoses including CVA, renal failure, traumatic brain injury, and pre/post neurosurgery patients

Requirements:

• Active Texas RN license or Compact license (must be in hand at time of application)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• Experience with 1:6 patient ratios
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, IV management, blood product administration, and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Candidates must not reside in the following Texas counties: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, or Morris
