Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Direct and coordinate all nursing care based on established clinical nursing practices.
• Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achieve desired patient outcomes.
• Administer medications using bedside scanning technology.

Requirements:

• RECENT experience in an acute care setting required.
• BLS certification required.
• Recent Cerner charting experience.
• 2+ years of nursing experience required.
• 2+ completed travel assignments required.

Additional Information:

• Floating required between Med Surg and Tele departments only.
• Schedule will vary based on the needs of the unit.
• Blocked scheduling is NOT approved.
• 48-hour weekly guarantees are NOT approved.
• Scrub color: navy blue.
• Patient Ratio: 1:6-7; Patient Care Technicians (PCT) have 14 patients.
• Unit bed capacity: 35.
• Monthly department volume: 810.
• Types of services: Med Surg, Remote Tele, Ortho, Post-op, CHF, Respiratory.
