**Join Our Dynamic Nursing Team - RN - MS (7P - 7A)** **Job Description:** - **Location:** Los Alamos Medical Center, 3917 West Road, Los Alamos, NM - **Position:** Registered Nurse (RN) - **Department:** MED/SURG TELE 605 - **Shift:** 7 PM to 7 AM - **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** 36 - **Weekend Requirements:** Minimum of 4 hours per month - **Call Requirements:** None **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide exceptional care for surgical patients in a vibrant hospital setting - Work with a patient care ratio of 5:1, ensuring individual attention - Collaborate with a committed team of healthcare professionals - Assist in other units as needed, contributing to a flexible and dynamic work environment **Required Qualifications:** - Active nursing license - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical/surgical unit - Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS **Preferred Skills:** - Experience caring for adult and geriatric patients - Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips - Comfort in a stepdown unit is an advantage **Unit Highlights:** - 15 bed unit focusing on adult and geriatric populations - Utilize GE equipment and Medhost for electronic health records - Supervised by Michelle Ortiz, RN, Director of Inpatient Services **Ideal Candidate Profile:** - Possesses a great attitude and thrives in a team environment - Able to adapt to challenges and limited resources - Enthusiastic about providing excellent patient care **Dress Code:** - Scrub Color: Any - Unacceptable attire: NA **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
