RN - MedSurg/Tele | Location: Winston-Salem, NC
Assignment Overview
Join our dynamic MedSurg/Tele unit, where you will provide care to a diverse patient population. This role is ideal for experienced RNs with at least 2 years in MedSurg, prepared to handle a fast-paced and collaborative environment. You will work in a setting known for transitional and general MedSurg care.
Deliver patient care in a transitional and general MedSurg environment
Perform advanced skills including IV starts, central line blood draws, and wound care
Administer non-titrating drips such as Heparin, Lasix, and Protonix
Interpret cardiac rhythms and manage bedside monitors
Collaborate with a dedicated team including CNAs, RTs, and hospitalists
Qualifications
Required:
BLS and ACLS certifications
Minimum 2 years MedSurg experience
Skills in trachs, chest tubes, wound vacs, and non-titrating drips
Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and perform central line blood draws
Preferred:
Experience with non-titrating drips Cardizem and Amiodarone
