Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift assignment requiring 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience and an active Ohio or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Med/Surg Tele unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Assignment length of 18 weeks with 13-week contracts also considered
• Required to work at least every other holiday
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or compact license required in hand
• Minimum of 18 months recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA or American Red Cross)
• NIHSS certification preferred
• Recent Epic charting experience within the last 6 months required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required (charge RN references accepted, co-worker references not accepted)

Additional Information

• Will complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation, with a passing score required on both
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with medical or religious exemptions only
• Permanent or per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
