Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift hospital assignment requiring at least 1 year of combined permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.

Details

• Med/Surg Tele unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active RN license - permanent Ohio license or compact license in hand required
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year combined permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• One professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applied for, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months (co-worker references not accepted)
• All certifications must be active and in hand at time of consideration; pending certifications not accepted

Additional Information

• Provide direct nursing care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients on the unit
• ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessment completed during orientation; passing score required within 2 attempts
• PBDS assessment is waived
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with medical or religious exemptions only
• Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement
• Background check hits are reviewed but open cases will not be accepted; no license hits accepted
• Expected to work every other holiday
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• RTO must be discussed during the interview process
