Job Details

• Position: Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical Telemetry
• Employment Type: Travel RN assignment
• Location: Mayfield Heights, Ohio
• Start Date: 10/23/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift Duration: 12-hour night shifts
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week with set weekend blocks, including Fri/Sat/Sun or Sat/Sun/Mon
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,020 - $2,130
• Orientation: Included at onboarding

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience required
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Current NIHSS certification required
• One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty from the past 12 months
• Ability to work nights and commit to the posted weekend rotation
• Travel nursing experience is welcome, but not required
• Local candidates are welcome to apply

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to telemetry changes
• Assess patients, administer medications, and carry out physician orders
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support positive patient outcomes
• Document nursing care accurately and maintain timely charting throughout the shift
• Promote patient education, comfort, and discharge readiness
• Support a fast-paced acute care unit while maintaining strong attention to detail
