Registered Nurse - Medical / Surgical (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Medical/Surgical Inpatient Observation Unit. This is a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you will provide care for patients with varying acuity levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a 28-bed Inpatient Observation Unit.
• Manage patient care in a setting that includes medical beds, trauma overflow beds, and mid-hold patients.
• Adapt to changing patient acuity and clinical needs.
• May be required to float to other areas based on competency and staffing requirements.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar acute care nursing specialty.
• Current certification in BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) is required.
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification is preferred.
