Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Telemetry/Neuro Vascular unit position requiring 18 months of strong neuro experience and NIHSS certification.

Details

• Neuro Vascular unit within a hospital setting
• AM shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week
• 30-minute meal break included
• No on-call responsibilities required

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required in hand
• AHA BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 18 months of nursing experience required
• Strong neuro/neuro vascular clinical experience required

Additional Information

• Provide telemetry and neuro vascular nursing care on a dedicated unit
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
• RTO requests are limited to a maximum of 5 days if not near a holiday, or 3 days if near a holiday, with only 1 holiday request allowed per assignment
• Candidates may only be considered for one position at a time within this health system
