Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Telemetry RN for a complex surgical unit requiring strong surgical skills and 18 months of tele experience.

• Complex surgical unit setting requiring strong surgical skills
• AM shift, 3x12s, 36 hours per week
• No on-call responsibilities
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active GA or Compact RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 18 months of nursing experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Previous travel experience preferred

Additional Information

• First-time travelers may not be well suited for this complex surgical unit given the experience requirements
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible, as local candidates are not accepted
• Former Emory staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
• RTO requests are limited to a maximum of 5 days if not falling on or near a holiday, or 3 days if falling on or near a holiday
• Only one holiday RTO request is permitted per assignment
