Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a hospital setting requiring 12 months of specialty experience and an Ohio or compact RN license in hand.

Details

• Work on a Med/Surg Tele unit in a hospital setting
• Potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and the ED to care for the same patient population
• Day/Night rotating 3x12 shifts (7pm-7:30am or 7am-7:30pm)
• Shifts may vary to meet hospital operational needs
• Required to work at least every other holiday

Requirements

• Active RN license - Ohio or Compact required and in hand
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 12 months of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment must be passed during orientation
• COVID-19 vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only
• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only

Additional Information

• Care for Med/Surg Tele patients across the main campus and potential float units
• Accepts local candidates at the same bill rate
• Permanent candidates may not return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• RTO must be discussed during the interview process
• First-time travelers are not required to have prior travel experience
