Description

American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg Tele RN for a hospital assignment requiring an OH or compact RN license and at least 1 year of specialty experience.

Details

• Work in the Med/Surg Tele unit of a hospital setting
• Potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and the ED to care for the same patient population
• Rotating day/night shifts (3x12 hours), 7pm-7:30am or 7am-7:30pm
• Shifts may vary based on hospital operational needs
• Every other holiday coverage required

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact license required, in hand
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (AHA or American Red Cross)
• Minimum 1 year of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• No pending certifications accepted
• Open background check cases or license hits are not accepted

• Care for medical/surgical patients requiring telemetry monitoring
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation with a passing score required
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with medical or religious exemptions only
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent or per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
