Travel Registered Nurse Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent Registered Nurse experience in a medical-surgical, telemetry, long-term care, or comparable inpatient setting
• Current Registered Nurse license eligible for practice in Massachusetts
• American Red Cross CPR certification
• Working knowledge of cardiac telemetry monitoring and rhythm recognition
• Ability to care for patients requiring isolation precautions and respiratory illness management
• Strong communication, teamwork, adaptability, and a positive professional attitude
• Availability to work 12-hour night shifts, weekends, and holidays

Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Provide safe, comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical telemetry patients throughout the night shift
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, recognize changes in patient condition, and communicate concerns promptly
• Care for geriatric patients, patients with dementia, longer-stay patients, and those with respiratory or isolation needs
• Perform nursing assessments, administer medications and treatments, and document patient progress accurately
• Coordinate care with providers and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support positive patient outcomes
• Prioritize care effectively while managing an assignment of approximately five to six or seven patients
• Contribute to a respectful, collaborative unit culture through dependable teamwork and professional communication
