Protouch Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Cleveland, Ohio.

Job Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult Med/Surg and Telemetry patients in a fast-paced hospital environment.
- Monitor patients’ cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and overall condition, recognizing and responding to changes promptly.
- Administer medications, perform comprehensive patient assessments, and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- May float to J1-2, J33, and the ED to care for the same patient population based on hospital operational needs.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of ECG rhythm recognition and safe medication administration.
- Participate in hospital orientation and successfully complete the required ECG Rhythm Recognition and SafeMedicate assessments.
- Work at least every other holiday as required by the facility.
Requirements
- Minimum 12 months of permanent Med/Surg Tele RN experience in the specialty being applied for.
- Must have an active Ohio RN license or Compact State RN license in hand.
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
- BLS must be through AHA or American Red Cross.
- Must be flexible with rotating day/night shifts based on hospital operational needs.
- Facility will make every effort to honor the traveler’s preferred shift but reserves the right to rotate shifts when necessary.
