Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring BLS, ACLS, and 1-2 years of experience on a night shift schedule.

Details

• Med/Surg unit with 46 beds, including 40 acute and 6 intermediate care beds
• Patient ratios of 5-6 on days and 6-7 on nights
• Night shift schedule, 3x12s (19:00-07:30), 36 hours per week
• Weekend and holiday coverage based on unit needs, up to every other weekend
• Float requirements to Surge Unit or Emergency Department to manage Med/Surg patients unable to be placed on the Med/Surg floor
• No on-call requirements
• Unit supported by an admission/discharge nurse and patient ambulator, with respiratory therapy and security available 24/7
• No IV team or RRT team on this unit

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• 1-2 years of relevant nursing experience required

Additional Information

• Provide direct nursing care to Med/Surg and telemetry patients
• Collaborate with support staff for admissions, discharges, and patient mobility needs
