Protouch Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Cleveland, Ohio.

Job Description:
- Provide direct nursing care to adult Med/Surg and Telemetry patients in a fast-paced hospital setting.
- Monitor patients’ cardiac rhythms, assess changes in condition, and respond appropriately to clinical needs.
- Administer medications, perform comprehensive assessments, and maintain accurate patient documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- May float to J1-2, J33, and the ED to care for patients with similar acuity and population needs.
- Participate in ECG Rhythm Recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation; an acceptable score on both assessments is required.
- Traveler must work at least every other holiday during the assignment.
Requirements:
- Minimum 12 months of permanent Med/Surg Tele RN experience required.
- Active Ohio RN license or Compact RN license must be in hand.
- AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
- One year of recent Oncology/Chemotherapy Administration experience is preferred but not required.
- Experienced Oncology nurses are encouraged to apply; training will be provided to qualified candidates interested in administering chemotherapy.
- Day/Night rotating shifts: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM / 7:00 PM–7:30 AM.
- Facility will make every effort to honor the traveler’s preferred shift but may rotate shifts based on operational needs.
