Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a Float Pool position requiring an active MA RN license and 2+ years of med/surg experience.

Details

• Float Pool position covering Med/Surg and Telemetry units
• 12-hour rotating shifts (7a-7p or 7p-7a) with every other weekend and every other holiday required
• 36 hours per week over an 8-week assignment
• Self-scheduling process with staffing coordination to fill open shifts
• Med/Surg ratios are 5:1 (7a-11p) and 6:1 (11p-7a)
• Telemetry ratios are 4:1 (7a-11p) and 5:1 (11p-7a)

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required in hand
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience required
• Telemetry experience required for floating assignments
• Must pass Tele/ECG and Medication competency testing
• Required vaccines include COVID (plus booster) and Flu, with medical exemptions allowed

Additional Information

• Float between Med/Surg and Telemetry units based on facility needs
• No more than 3 days of RTO allowed during the assignment
• Local candidates accepted
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Previous BILH employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must complete a 6-month break before returning to any BILH facility
• No separation from BILH required for current travelers
