Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry Float Pool position requiring 2+ years of Med Surg Tele experience and a MA RN license.

Details

• Float Pool position covering Medical-Surgical Telemetry floors
• Floats to all Med/Surg Tele units and overflow areas as needed
• 12-hour night shift, 36 hours per week
• Weekends and holidays expected
• Shift hours are 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required in hand
• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg Telemetry experience required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• Current ACLS certification (AHA) required
• Must pass a Telemetry/ECG competency exam and medication test during onboarding with only one attempt allowed, scoring at least 85% with no remediation or re-sit opportunity
• Testing must be completed within 48 hours of offer
• Documented professional development activities required
• Knowledge of critical paths required
• Charge nurse experience preferred

Additional Information

• Biweekly orientation schedule
• Candidates must live within a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered; local candidates are not accepted
• Previous Beth Israel Lahey Health employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a 6-month break from any BILH facility before returning
• Required vaccinations include COVID-19 (plus booster) and flu, with medical exemptions allowed
• All RTO requests must be submitted with the candidate profile
