• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,730-$1,820
• Start Date: ASAP
• Location: Gaffney, SC 29340 / Upstate South Carolina — a welcoming Upstate South Carolina community
• Orientation: Pass/fail clinical testing required on the first day of orientation
• Unit Support: Centralized telemetry monitoring with tech support
• Float Expectations: May float within scope to meet facility needs
• Weekend Coverage: As needed

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license, or ability to obtain prior to start
• Pending license accepted
• At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry or telemetry nursing experience required; 2 years preferred
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias
• Experience with Epic preferred
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Must be able to pass a cardiac dysrhythmia test on day one
• Must complete compliance items prior to start
• Must reside outside the local travel radius

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to Med/Surg Tele patients
• Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient status
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care
• Care for patients with conditions such as sepsis, dementia, post-op needs, orthopedic concerns, chest pain, and rule-out stroke presentations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support coordinated care
• Use clinical judgment to prioritize care in a fast-paced resource pool environment
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow unit protocols
• Support safe handoffs, patient education, and quality outcomes
