We are seeking a dedicated and experienced MS/Tele Registered Nurse to join our team at a leading acute-care hospital in Salisbury, NC. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment while providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to patients in the Med Surg and Telemetry units.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to emergencies.
• Administer IV therapy and manage blood products.
• Perform respiratory care, including nasal cannula and non-invasive airway management.
• Adhere to isolation precautions and utilize personal protective equipment (PPE).

Required Skills and Certifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Med Surg and Telemetry nursing.
• Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and participate in rapid response/code teams.
• Proficient in IV therapy, phlebotomy, and central/peripheral line management.
• Current BCLS certification is required.

Preferred Skills and Certifications:

• Experience with telemetry and management of dysrhythmias.
• OCN and chemotherapy administration certifications are a plus.

Job Details:

• Target Ratios: 1:6, with 36 beds in the unit.
• Must be willing to float to all areas holding Med-Surg patients.
• Every other weekend is required.
• Unit orientation will be 24 hours.
• Unit systems include Epic and Pyxis.

Additional Information:

• RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite.
• Any call-offs or additional RTO on the unit may result in cancellation.
