Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Expected 36 hours/week | Weekend hours every other weekend or as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 24-bed Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit serving patients of all ages
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data, identifying and responding to changes in patient condition
• Document patient assessments, care plans, and interventions accurately using Cerner EHR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver safe, high-quality patient care
• Float to other units and respond to call requirements as needed
• Adhere to facility dress code; professional scrubs of traveler's choosing (no casual wear)

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure valid to practice in the state of North Carolina
• BLS certification required
• CPI / HWC / MAB certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Minimum 1–2 years of Medical/Surgical Telemetry (MST) experience
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel placement

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Joint Commission Accredited facility or Primary Stroke Center environment
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records system
• Experience caring for a diverse patient population across all age groups
