Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a 9 South Telemetry (Med/Surg) unit, caring primarily for post-procedural and cath lab patients on day shift in a 13-week assignment.

Details

• Work in the 9 South Telemetry unit of an acute care hospital
• Primary patient population consists of post-procedural patients with typical stays of 1–3 nights following surgery
• Also cares for cath lab patients and ER overflow as needed
• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Up to 3 Saturdays may be required per 6-week schedule period
• Unit is closed on Sundays
• Holiday coverage may be required based on surgical volumes
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active IA RN license or a Compact RN license currently in hand
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association)
• COVID vaccination card required
• References required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide telemetry-monitored nursing care to post-surgical, cath lab, and ER overflow patients
• Local candidates are eligible for this position; local pay rates are available for RNs in IA
