• Location: Hickory, NC 28601

• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,710 - $1,800
• Schedule Notes: Every other weekend; may occasionally float to IMCU, NPCU, and/or Surgical units

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in med/surg telemetry, telemetry nursing, or cardiac nursing
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Associate degree required
• Experience with Life Pak, Zoll, and Masimo preferred
• Cerner experience strongly preferred
• Comfort working with adult cardiac patients across a broad patient population

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult telemetry and cardiac patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, recognize changes in condition, and respond appropriately
• Administer medications, complete assessments, and document patient care accurately
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care team members to support safe patient outcomes
• Care for patients with chest pain, atrial fibrillation, CHF, and pre-/post-cardiac catheterization needs
• Support a family-oriented unit culture focused on teamwork, communication, and patient-centered care
• Float as needed to assist related inpatient units based on department needs
