Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position in the Special Progressive Care Unit, requiring telemetry experience and a passing Basic Arrhythmia score.

Details

• Work in the Special Progressive Care Unit (SPCU) of a hospital environment
• Unit serves as an isolation/COVID unit and overflow unit
• 12-hour night shift schedule
• No on-call responsibilities
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Active RN license (NC or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BCLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Prior telemetry nursing experience required
• Basic Arrhythmia exam score of 85% or greater required

Additional Information

• Provide telemetry nursing care within a progressive care and overflow/isolation unit setting
• Must reside 50 miles or more from the facility to qualify for the travel assignment
