**Exciting Opportunity for a Travel RN - Med Surg/Telemetry!** **Job Description:** - **Location:** Weatherford, TX - **Unit:** 2 South (610) - **Position:** RN - Med/Tele - **Shift:** 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM - **Duration:** 13 weeks - **Guaranteed Hours:** 36 per week **Unit Highlights:** - **Documentation System:** Meditech - **Floating Policy:** As needed - **Weekends:** Rotating - **Call Requirements:** None **Qualifications:** - **Must Have:** - Active Texas RN License (Temp licenses not accepted) - BLS & ACLS Certification Required - 2+ Years of Med/Tele Specialty Experience - 2+ Years of Hospital Experience - **Preferred Skills:** - Experience with Meditech **Procedures Performed on Unit:** - General Med Surg - IV Initiation - NG Tube Insertions - Foley Catheterizations - Dressing Changes - Activities of Daily Living (ADL) **Patient Experience Requirements:** - Promote a safe and therapeutic environment. - Acquire specialized knowledge and skills for care. - Competently demonstrate nursing practices as per facility policies. - Supervise designated staff within the department. - Must excel in: - Patient Experience - AIDET - Bedside Reporting - Hour Rounding - Service Recovery Steps **Dress Code:** - **Scrub Color:** Navy Blue with Med City Embroidery (Proof of Purchase Required) - **Nail Policy:** Clean and Healthy, no artificial or gel nails - **Hair:** Neat, clean, no extreme styles/colors; must be pulled back if shoulder length or longer - **Facial Hair:** Clean and neatly trimmed - **Tattoos:** Cover when possible; non-coverable art addressed individually - **Piercings:** Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited **Unit Guidelines/Policies:** - Attendance Policies: Companywide policy will be followed. --- **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
