Travel as a Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse in Lake Havasu City, AZ. This 13-week acute care nursing assignment offers a rewarding opportunity for an experienced Telemetry RN to care for adult and geriatric patients in a community hospital setting.

Job Details

• Location: Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts
• Shift Duration: 12 hours
• Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,800 - $1,890
• Patient Population: Adult and geriatric
• Unit Type: Medical-Surgical Telemetry (Med/Surg Tele)
• Setting: Acute care, community hospital environment

Job Requirements

• Active RN license and current ACLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of recent Registered Nurse experience, preferably in telemetry, med/surg, or acute care
• Strong telemetry nursing skills and confidence managing a 1:6 patient ratio
• Experience caring for surgical and medical patients in a fast-paced hospital setting
• Travel RN experience preferred
• Ability to float to other hospital units as needed
• Compassionate, positive, and dependable team mindset
• ADN required; BSN preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to telemetry and medical-surgical patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Care for patients with conditions such as CHF, CKD, acute-on-chronic medical issues, alcohol withdrawal, and GI bleed
• Support recovery for total joint and general surgical patients
• Maintain accurate assessments, documentation, and communication with the care team
• Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary staff to promote safe, effective patient care
• Float to other units such as IMC or the ED when needed
• Deliver compassionate care while helping maintain a positive unit culture
