- Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend / weekends as needed

- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,850 - $1,940
- Healthcare Setting: Acute care med/surg telemetry unit
Job Requirements
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg Tele or related acute care nursing experience
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- NIHSS certification required
- Epic charting experience required
- Strong experience caring for adult and geriatric patients
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity telemetry environment
- Willingness to float as needed to other med/surg areas and related patient care units
- COVID-19 vaccination required; medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed
- Flu vaccination required; medical/religious exemptions only
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to med/surg telemetry patients
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Care for patients with stroke, CHF, respiratory illness, arrhythmias, renal issues, and general surgical needs
- Support patients receiving oxygen therapy, IV medications, blood products, and other common Med/Surg Tele interventions
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to promote positive patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and follow unit protocols and safety standards
- Float to other med/surg units, rehab, or support areas as needed
- Deliver compassionate care while adapting to changing patient assignments and acuity levels
