Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Med Surg / Progressive Care Registered Nurse for a high-acuity travel assignment. This role is ideal for an RN who excels in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional, patient-centered care to a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process
Perform detailed patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
Administer medications and treatments safely
Monitor patient progress and respond promptly to changes in condition
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge care
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical record documentation
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
Support admissions, transfers, and discharge planning
Minimum Requirements
Active, unrestricted RN license
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN) required
BLS Certification
Strong Med Surg and/or Progressive Care experience
Excellent assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of recent Med Surg and/or Progressive Care (PCU) experience
BSN preferred
Experience caring for high-acuity, medically complex patients
Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced clinical environment
