Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

AM Shift: 07:00 – 19:30. Comprising of three 12-hour shifts, totaling 36 hours per week. Flexibility is required as the types of patients may vary.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will float between the ICU/Med-Surg units, taking on appropriate assignments as needed. This position requires the nurse to provide care for various patients, primarily GYN and surgical cases, including bariatric and post-operative ENT patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to a diverse patient population.
• Administer medications as per prescribed orders.
• Monitor patient health and report any changes to the medical team.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Be prepared for varying patient assignments based on census.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Med-Surg experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
