Job Description
The Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) will provide specialized care for patients with complex medical conditions, utilizing telemetry monitoring to assess the patient's cardiac status.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and monitor patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit.
- Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care.
- Educate patients and families on health management and treatment plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- A minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required.
- Active Ohio Registered Nurse license or compact state license necessary.
- BLS and ACLS certifications must be current and in hand.
- ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment completion required during orientation.
