• Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910 - $2,010
• Orientation: 16 hours
• Schedule Note: Traveler must work at least every other holiday

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry nursing
• Active Ohio RN license or compact state license in hand at time of submission
• Current BLS and ACLS certification in hand at time of submission
• NIHSS certification required prior to start
• Epic experience required
• One recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty is required
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate must be passed during orientation
• Traveler must be comfortable completing compliance requirements, including background review and fingerprinting timelines

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care to adult Med/Surg Telemetry patients
• Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions according to the plan of care
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support positive patient outcomes
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in Epic
• Participate in orientation, competency requirements, and unit-based learning
• Maintain professional communication and follow all unit and compliance expectations
