Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience
• Telemetry nursing experience required
• Ability to manage a 1:6 patient ratio with confidence
• ACLS certification required
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• ADN required
• Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills
• Positive, compassionate, and adaptable attitude
• Ability to float to other units such as IMC and ED as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality medical-surgical and telemetry nursing care to adult and geriatric patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Care for patients with conditions such as CHF, CKD, alcohol withdrawal, SIRS, GIB, total joint recovery, and other acute on chronic medical concerns
• Administer medications, coordinate treatments, and complete routine nursing assessments
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to support safe, effective patient outcomes
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record
• Maintain a calm, professional presence in a busy acute care hospital environment
• Float to comparable units when needed, supporting patient care across the hospital
