Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel RN in the Med Surg department. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. With a commitment to quality patient care, you'll be part of a dedicated team in Bluffton, IN.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing assessments and IV starts for patients in the Medical Surgical unit.
• Monitor telemetry and provide care for patients in acute and progressive care settings.
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1 to 6 for acute care and 1 to 10 for swing beds.

Requirements:

• Current RN licensure in Indiana.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience preferred.
• Experience with IV starts, telemetry, and nursing assessments.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with ICU drips.
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR.

This facility has 40 licensed beds, including 10 swing beds, with an average daily census of 10 patients. The Medical Surgical unit consists of 20 beds, ensuring a manageable workload. Scrub color is navy blue, and there are no on-call requirements.

Travelers must provide required licenses and certifications upon submission and must be located more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates will not be accepted.
