Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position in a hospital's Nursing Float Pool, requiring active MA licensure and strong telemetry experience.

Details

  • Hospital-based Nursing Float Pool position
  • RN will float across multiple units, requiring strong telemetry skills
  • 12-hour rotating shifts (Days/Nights), 36 hours per week
  • Shift hours are 08:00 AM to 08:30 PM
  • Weekly orientations are provided for float pool staff

Requirements

  • Active MA RN license required in hand
  • 2+ years of Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required
  • Strong telemetry experience required due to float pool responsibilities
  • EPIC EMR experience required
  • Must pass Tele/ECG and Medication competency testing
  • COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine required (medical exemptions allowed)

Additional Information

  • Float pool RN will be utilized across multiple hospital units based on need
  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
  • Local candidates are not accepted for this position
  • Previous BILH employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must complete a 6-month break before returning to any BILH facility
  • No RTO will be approved during this assignment
  • No separation period required for current or former BILH travelers when submitting to open orders
