Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring a minimum of 18 months of permanent MS/Tele experience and an active OH or compact RN license in hand.

Details

• Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact license currently in hand (required at time of consideration)
• Minimum 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS and ACLS certifications required (must be in hand; no pending certifications accepted)
• NIHSS certification required prior to start date
• One reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required for consideration; charge RN references are accepted; references must be from assignments worked within the past 12 months
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are completed during orientation; candidates have a maximum of two attempts to achieve a passing score
• BCI/FBI background check prints must be completed within 48 hours of signing a contract
• Background license hits of any kind are reviewed by the facility; open cases will not be accepted; no license hits are accepted
• Permanent and per diem candidates who previously worked at a Cleveland Clinic facility must wait at least 1 year from their previous end date before returning as a traveler
• Local candidates are accepted for this position
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at time of consideration
• Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement
