Description

American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg Telemetry RN for a night shift hospital position requiring 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience and an active Ohio or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Med/Surg Telemetry (MS/Tele) unit of a hospital
• Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 18-week assignment providing winter coverage, with 13-week assignments also considered

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or compact license in hand required
• Minimum of 18 months recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Willingness to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start required
• One professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation with a maximum of 2 attempts

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients
• Nurses are currently exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with medical/religious exemptions only
• Expected to work every other holiday
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• Background check hits of any kind will be reviewed, but open cases will not be accepted
• Professional license hits are not accepted
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of signing contract
