Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) needed in Concord, NH, for a 13-week hospital contract with 12-hour night shifts and competitive weekly pay. Travel RN Job Details

Telemetry Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of recent med-surg and telemetry nursing experience
• Active New Hampshire or compact Registered Nurse license at the time of submission
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification completed before the start date
• Ability to successfully complete a dysrhythmia examination during onboarding, with a preferred score of 80% or higher
• Critical care nursing experience may be considered if the candidate is comfortable managing med-surg patient ratios and acuity
• Current resume documenting relevant specialty experience; prior travel nursing experience is preferred
• Experience with Cerner is preferred but not required
• Ability to float to other nearby clinical locations when needed

Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to adult med-surg and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, recognize changes in patient condition, and initiate appropriate interventions
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with current orders and clinical standards
• Complete thorough patient assessments, care plans, clinical documentation, and reassessments
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, ancillary departments, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge instructions
• Float between units or nearby clinical locations as assigned while maintaining high standards of patient care
• Support a positive, flexible, and team-oriented environment during overnight operations
