Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift position requiring 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience and an active Ohio or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 13-20 week contract options available

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or Compact RN license required in hand
• Minimum of 18 months permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (preferred)
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• Must complete BCI/FBI fingerprinting within 48 hours of signing contract

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients on the night shift
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• PBDS assessment is waived, but ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate tests must be passed during orientation with a maximum of 2 attempts
• Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• Assignments may extend up to 18 consecutive months, after which a 6-month break is required before returning unless otherwise approved
• First-time travelers are not required for this position
