Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position at a hospital in the Cleveland Clinic Health System, requiring a permanent Ohio or compact RN license and a minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting within the Cleveland Clinic Health System
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license (permanent) or compact RN license currently in hand — no pending licensure accepted
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required and must be active and in hand — no pending certifications accepted
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required
• One managerial reference (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) in the specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months is required for consideration — co-worker references are not accepted
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
• Background check reviewed by facility — open cases will not be accepted, and no license hits are accepted

• Former permanent or per diem employees of Cleveland Clinic hospitals must have a minimum 1-year gap from their previous end date before being eligible
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are completed during orientation — a passing score is required, with a maximum of 2 attempts
• Pre-start orientation modules are required; average completion time is 6–15 hours
• Travelers may remain on assignment for up to 18 consecutive months, after which a 6-month break is required before returning to any Cleveland Clinic location
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed prior to or during the interview process
• Travelers may only be considered for one Cleveland Clinic Health System position at a time
