Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift position requiring 18 months of Med/Surg Telemetry experience and an active Ohio or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Med/Surg Tele unit of a hospital environment
• Night shift schedule of 3x12 hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Contract options ranging from 13-20 weeks with an 18-month assignment length available

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or Compact RN license required in hand
• Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• Current certifications required: BLS and ACLS (AHA)
• NIHSS certification preferred
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments will be completed during orientation, with a maximum of 2 attempts to achieve a passing score
• PBDS assessment is waived for this position
• Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
• First-time travelers may be considered for this role
