Contract | Onsite | Rotating Days and Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Sunday–Saturday | 7:00–19:30 or 19:00–7:30 | Weekend rotation required | Some holidays based on operational need

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry inpatient setting
• Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms, including identification of lethal arrhythmias
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients
• Float to other units as needed based on operational requirements
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using Epic EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of Neuro Medical Surgical/Telemetry inpatient experience within the last 3 years
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required – American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• Must pass a Telemetry competency exam prior to start (adult and pediatric components; passing score of 80% or higher with 100% identification of lethal rhythms; maximum of three attempts)
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (locals not accepted)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Magnet-designated facility
• Familiarity with cardiac rhythm interpretation and advanced telemetry monitoring
