Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry night shift position requiring 18 months of recent MS/Tele experience and an active Ohio or compact RN license.

Details

  • Hospital-based Med/Surg Telemetry (MS/Tele) unit
  • Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:30pm to 7:00am
  • Options for 4x12s, 3x12s, or 2x12s available
  • 20-week assignment for winter coverage, with 13-week assignments also considered

Requirements

  • Active Ohio RN license or Compact RN license required in hand
  • Minimum of 18 months recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required prior to travel
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Must be willing to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start
  • One recent reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or Charge RN in the MS/Tele specialty from an assignment within the past 12 months
  • Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation

Additional Information

  • Provide direct patient care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients on a busy hospital unit
  • ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation, with up to 2 attempts allowed to achieve a passing score
  • Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
  • Nicotine-free facility policy does not apply to nursing staff
  • Assignments may be extended up to a total of 18 consecutive months, with a required 6-month break before returning to any Cleveland Clinic location
